SunPower to report lower profit in the second-quarter of 2011
SunPower Corp. announced a decrease in revenue in the second the quarter by 147.9 million dollars, compared to a loss of 6.2 million dollars, or 7 cents a share, a year earlier, in the context of low demand across Europe. According to the Chief Executive of SunPower, Tom Wemer, the company will try to raise its profit by developing new projects and cutting manufacturing costs.

Germany’s E.ON plans massive job cuts
Germany's biggest energy group, E.ON, registered Wednesday its first quarterly historical loss , following German government decision to phase out nuclear energy, which pushed the company to reorganize its activity, move that could affect up to 11,000 jobs.
