The International Energy Agency (IEA) announced on Thursday that it will halt to release emergency oil reserves, after the global energy regulator put 60 million barrels of oil on the market in the bid to bring oil prices down that made the prices increase at $120 per barrel, following disruptions of Libyan supply.

U.S. and Brent crude oil futures increased again on Wednesday on rising optimism that the euro zone and US debt issues would be resolved. NYMEX crude contract for September delivery traded at 98.40 dollars a barrel, lifting 54 cents after a trading range between 96.93 and 99.37 dollars, while ICE Brent crude for September delivery settled at 118.15 dollars a barrel, up 1.09 dollars, after trading from 117.06 to 118.86 dollars.
