Crude oil futures increased on Friday after dollar increase and on the news that Muammar Gaddafi has been wounded. U.S. crude for delivery in June traded at 99.65 dollars a barrel, up 68 cents, while ICE Brent for June delivery traded at 113.83 dollars, up 85 cents, after a trading range between 111.72 and 114.92 dollars.

Largest solar boat to sail through the Pacific
The largest solar boat, called Turanor Planet, is sailing through the Pacific, trying to convey the idea on the importance to have a clear environment. The solar boat tour started from Monaco in September last year and confronted serious difficulties going out to sea.

BP faces difficulties to complete its share swap deadline with Rosneft
U.K. oil major BP remains confident that it will reach an agreement today with Russian group Rosneft to honor its $16 billion share swap, after the UK company asked to move the deadline to May 16, giving a month for arbitration.

RenewableUK warns on offshore wind targets
