Recently, the Scottish Government discarded from its governmental new offshore wind plan two wind farm projects, submitted for approval by E.ON with its 300 MW project in the Solway Firth and DONG Energy's 280MW Wigtown Bay project.

Rosneft and Chevron to break their collaboration on Black Sea field
According to Kommersant business daily declarations, U.S. oil giant Chevron Corporation and Russian state oil producer Rosneft are likely to put an end to their collaboration on a joint development of the Val Shatskogo deposit on the Black Sea field, a deepwater region which is said to contain more than 6 billion barrels of oil

BASF and Gazprom to collaborate in South Stream gas project
Germany's chemical giant BASF signed an agreement with the Russian energy company, Gazprom, providing that it will join the Russian South Stream gas project, in a ceremony at which participated Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin.
