Austria to re-introduce VAT for small PV systems
Austria will re-introduce the 20% value-added tax (VAT) on small photovoltaic (PV) installations of up to 35 kWp and impose an additional levy, called energy crisis contribution for electricity, for system operators.

RWE, TotalEnergies agree long-term green hydrogen supply deal

Freja Offshore gains key permit for 2.5GW offshore wind farm in Sweden
Freja Offshore has obtained a crucial Natura 2000 permit from the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland for its 2.5GW Mareld offshore wind farm in Sweden, planned 40km west of Lysekil, offshore Bohuslän in the Swedish Economic Zone (SEZ).

EU to launch Eur1 billion third hydrogen bank funding round in Q3
The European Commission will launch a third hydrogen production support scheme worth up to Eur1 billion ($1.05 billion) in the third quarter of 2025, it said in its Clean Industrial Deal business plan launched Feb. 26.
