Oil prices declined on Thursday as OPEC and its allies confirmed they would maintain their oil output levels. Consequently, Brent crude fell by 1.5%, closing at $79.52 a barrel, while WTI crude decreased by 2%, settling at $76.31 a barrel.

Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday, driven by escalating tensions in the Middle East following the assassination of Hamas's leader by Israel. As a result, Brent crude rose by 2.7%, closing at $80.72 a barrel. Similarly, WTI crude increased by over 4%, settling at $77.91 a barrel.
