US Softens Stance On Countries Buying Iranian Oil

The United States will work with countries importing Iranian oil on a case by case basis to get as many of them as possible “down to zero” by early November, the U.S. State Department said on Thursday, clarifying comments from earlier this week that suggested there wouldn’t be any waivers for Iran’s oil buyers.

Ford reaches its manufacturing emissions target eight years ahead of schedule

The US-based automotive manufacturing company, Ford, has announced it has reached it’s CO2 emissions target eight years in advance. The firm set the target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions produced through its manufacturing operations by 30% per vehicle produced in 2010.

Daily (28.06.18): UK gas prices were strongly bullish on Wednesday due to high oil prices

Decreasing U.S. crude stocks, a supply outage at Syncrude in Canada and uncertainty over Lybian exports boosted oil prices on Wednesday. Brent crude jumped to almost a three-week peak, to settle 1.7% higher at $77.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude rose by 3.1% to $72.76 a barrel, or a 3 ½ -year high.

Siemens Gamesa Secures 471 Megawatt Brazilian Wind Turbine Order

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy announced on Wednesday that it would supply 136 wind turbines to Brazil’s Santa Luzia wind complex, which consists of 15 wind turbines with a capacity of 471 megawatts (MW).
