Scottish wind farms set new records in terms of power production in March 2017

Wind turbines in Scotland supplied 1,240,095 MWh of electricity to the National Grid - enough to supply the electrical needs to about 136 % of Scottish households, or 3.3 million homes, according to new data published by World Wide Fund Scotland (WWF).

Greece: Repsol reaches agreement with Energean Oil over two Greek onshore blocks

Energean Oil & Gas has made an announcement that the company has inked the agreement that will grant 60% interest in its Ioannina and Aitoloakarnania blocks, onshore Western Greece, to Spain’s Repsol, which also is going to become the operator for these blocks.
