Futuren increases wind power capacity in France

Another “renewable” record for Scotland – wind generation up 36%

According to a new analysis of WeatherEnergy’s wind and solar power from WWF Scotland, another record for Scottish wind and solar power output was registered in September. Wind energy surpassed Scotland’s electricity needs for two days in the same month for the first time on record.

Bulgaria considers a 25% stake in a floating LNG terminal in Greece

Yesterday, the Bulgarian Energy Minister has met its Greek counterpart, to talk about the development of a natural gas pipeline between the two countries. Discussions were concentrated mainly on plans to build a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, off the coast of northern Greece, in Alexandroupolis.
