Romania's Nuclearelectrica declared it will stop on December 23 its nuclear reactor number two at its Cernavoda nuclear power plant and detach it from the national electricity grid on Tuesday to solve a problem, which did not affected plant’s safety.

Ukraine: Naftogaz has paid $1.65 billion tranche to Gazprom
Ukrainian state energy company Naftogaz declared on Tuesday it had paid $1.65 billion to Russia's Gazprom - the second tranche of a debt reimbursement settled under an agreement that saw Moscow restart gas supplies to Ukraine at the beginning of this month.

Daily: Crude oil prices decline as OPEC leader vows not to curb oil production
Crude oil prices resumed their downward trend on Monday on Saudi Arabia’s minister declarations that OPEC would not curb production at any price. Brent crude decreased by $1.27, or 2 percent, to settle at $60.11 a barrel after a session low of $59.84. U.S. crude's front-month contract declined $1.87, or 3.3 percent, to close at $55.26 a barrel.
