Bayer to migrate outside Germany over high electricity prices
The German major pharmaceutical company, Bayer warned that it may be forced to leave the country and to migrate its production to other countries, due to the Germany’s decision to phase out nuclear energy by 2022, a move that would push the electricity prices up.

E.ON increases its bills despite a drop in gas costs
Despite a drop in gas wholesale prices, which hit the lowest level this year, E.ON became the last of the six energy suppliers to boost the bills for the consumers by 18% for gas and 11.4% for electricity from September, copying the earlier decision of British Gas, Scottish Power and Scottish & Southern.

Pattern to sign four new agreements with OPA
Pattern Energy Group LP and Samsung Renewable Energy announced the signing of four new agreements with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) for purchasing power under which the companies are obliged to provide 870 MW of green power from wind projects to OPA, enough to supply power for over 300,000 homes yearly.
