Daily (16.12.2024): Brent crude rose by about 2% on Friday, hovering at its highest level since November 22

Oil prices increased on Friday, driven by sanctions against Russia and Donald Trump's intention to step up pressure on Iran. Brent crude gained 1.5% settling at $71.29 per barrel. WTI crude reached $74.49 per barrel, rising by about 2% day-on-day.
