Swinoujscie terminal receives 100th LNG shipment

The Swinoujscie gas terminal in north-western Poland received its 100th liquefied natural gas cargo on Friday. The 90,000 tonnes LNG shipment came from Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited (Qatargas) aboard the Al-Safliya LNG tanker.

Total and Sonatrach extend their partnership in LNG

Total and Sonatrach have signed an agreement to renew their partnership in the field of LNG. This agreement notably allows to extend the existing supply contracts for three additional years in order to provide 2 million tpy of Algerian LNG to the French market, primarily through an LNG terminal at Fos Cavaou. The agreement also includes the sub-charter of an LNG tanker of Total by Sonatrach.

Shell to supply carbon-neutral LNG cargoes to China’s CNOOC

LNG giant Shell said it recently signed a deal to supply carbon-neutral liquefied natural gas cargoes to CNOOC Gas & Power Group, a unit of China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
