Daily (04.05.2021): EUAs rallied towards 50 EUR/tonne on Monday amid continuing speculation

Crude oil prices started the week on a front foot, as strong economic figures from China and a rapid coronavirus vaccination pace in the US overshadowed the concerns over increasing virus figures in India. Hence, Brent crude added 0.55 to settle at $67.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude increased by 1.4% to close at $64.69 a barrel.

Italy to produce 70-72 per cent of power from renewables in 2030 to reach EU targets

‘More stable’ EU ETS prices under lower MSR rate
