Crude oil prices ended lower again on Tuesday, weighed by investors’ fears on a possible decrease in global demand due to the new strain of coronavirus. Consequently, Brent crude weakened by 1.6% to $50.08 a barrel, while WTI oil lost 2% to close at $47.02 a barrel.

Polish group calls on Germany to reverse nuclear phaseout
Polish climate and environmental activists are asking Germany to reconsider its 2011 decision to phase out nuclear power. On 18 December, activists from the FOTA4Climate initiative submitted to the German embassy in Warsaw an open letter signed by Polish scientists, intellectuals, activists and citizens.

Kosovo signs agreements for 100MW of wind, solar
Kosovan grid operator Kostt has signed connection agreements for two wind farms and a solar plant in the Kamenica municipality with a combined capacity of 99.6MW, which are expected to come on line in 2024.
