Daily (11.04.2024): Crude oil prices rose by 1% on Wednesday as Gaza cease-fire hopes fade
Oil prices rose by $1 on Wednesday following the news that three sons of a Hamas leader were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip. This development raised concerns that ceasefire negotiations could face obstacles. Hence, Brent crude settled at $90.48 a barrel, while WTI crude ended at $86.21 a barrel.
