Canadian energy firm Enbridge partner with E.ON and GIB in Rampion offshore wind project

E.ON has made known on Thursday that the Canadian energy firm Enbridge has joined the Rampion offshore wind project by purchasing an interest of 24.9 percent. Enbridge will turn into one of three shareholders in Rampion Offshore Wind Limited. E.ON will continue to be the controlling shareholder at 50.1 percent, while the UK Green Investment Bank plc (GIB) possessing a 25 percent interest.

Germany: EnBW to become third largest gas provider after E.ON and Wingas

Germany utility EnBW has inked a deal to acquire a 74% stake in gas firm Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) from German energy company EWE, for €1.43bn ($1.63bn), becoming the country's third-largest gas provider after E.ON and Gazprom's Wingas.

E.ON sells Norwegian E&P activity for $1.6 billion to DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG

E.ON has inked an accord to sell 100 percent of its shares in E.ON E&P Norge AS (E.ON E&P Norge) to DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG (DEA). The deal is valued at $1.6 billion, counting $0.1 billion of cash on the balance sheet. It is expected to close by the end of 2015, since it is subject to normal regulatory approvals.
