Daily (15.12.2022): European carbon prices extended losses on Wednesday amid expiring contracts
Crude oil prices rebounded on Wednesday following forecasts from OPEC and the International Energy Agency (IEA) of a rebound in demand over the next year, and as US interest rate hikes are expected to ease further alongside slowing inflation. Brent crude increased by $2.02, or 2.4%, to $82.70 per barrel, while U.S. WTI crude rose by $1.94 to $77.28 a barrel.

Daily (06.12.2022): Oil prices dropped to their lowest levels since January amid OPEC decision to hold steady oil output
Crude oil prices dropped to the lowest level since January following OPEC’s decision not to cut production any further. Moreover, stronger-than-expected US economic data fuelled speculation that the Federal Reserve would keep its policy tight to fight inflation. Hence, Brent crude decreased by $2.89, or 3.4%%, to settle at $82.68 a barrel. WTI crude fell by $3.05, or 3.8%, to end at $76.93 a barrel.

Daily (05.12.2022): NBP spot settled down on Friday amid forecasts for strong LNG arrivals
A bearish trend was seen in crude oil prices on Friday ahead of a meeting of the OPEC+ on Sunday and an EU ban on Russian crude on Monday. Thus, Brent crude decreased by 1.5% to settle at $85.57 a barrel. WTI crude ended around 5% lower at $79.98 a barrel.

Oil prices could fall without further OPEC cut
LONDON, Dec 1 - OPEC+ is widely expected to stick to its latest target of reducing oil production by 2 million barrels per day (bpd) when it meets on Sunday, but some analysts believe that crude prices could fall if the group does not make further cuts.
