Daily (17.11.2022): Oil prices were bearish on Wednesday after the restart of crude supplies via Druzhba pipeline

Oil prices dropped on Wednesday as a result of the commencement of Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary and an increase in COVID-19 cases in China. As a result, Brent crude settled at $92.86 a barrel, down 1%. WTI crude decreased by 1.5% to $85.59 per barrel.

Hungary will not agree to EU gas price cap, will need exemption

Hungary will not agree to an EU price cap on imported gas because it would end Russian deliveries, a senior aide to Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, adding that if the EU decides on a cap it would have to exempt Hungary, as it did for oil.
