Iraq, the producer of more than three million barrels of crude oil per day, is expecting to increase its capacity of production to more than 10 million barrels per day within the next six years, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy said at a special briefing in Washington.

According to an Oil Ministry spokesman e-mailed statement, Iraq’s crude oil exports settled at their highest monthly level in March since 1980, with 71.827 million barrel exported and 8.475 billion dollars generated revenue. Iraq trades crude for 118 dollars a barrel.
