Dong targets to phase out coal-fired electricity generation by 2023
Dong is already the world’s largest offshore wind farm company, constructing over a quarter of the capacity installed worldwide. It intends to offload its operations concentrated on oil exploration and production later this year, after pulling off one of the biggest stock market listings in 2016.

Macquarie to acquire a 50% stake in UK’s Race Bank wind farm from Dong Energy
Danish energy company Dong Energy signed a deal to divest 50% of its stake in the 573MW offshore wind farm project in the UK, called Race Bank, to the Macquarie Group’s units for £1.6bn.
