Daily (08.02.2023): European spot electricity prices fell on Tuesday amid strong wind generation.

Oil prices rose for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, partly due to the closure of a Turkish export terminal following the earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday. However, the main driver of the increase was expectations of a recovery in Chinese demand. As a result, Brent crude increased by 3% to $83.69 a barrel and WTI oil rose by 4% to $77.14 a barrel.

Daily (30.01.2023): British gas prices fell on Friday amid mild weather outlook, signals of the return of Freeport LNG terminal

Crude oil prices moved downwards on Friday amid reports that oil loadings from Russia's Baltic ports were set to rise by 50% this month from December. Hence, Brent crude declined by 81 cents, or 0.9%, to settle at $86.66 per barrel. U.S. WTI crude decreased by $1.33, or 1.6 %, to settle at $79.68 a barrel.

Bulgaria signs long-term gas deal with Turkey

Bulgaria's state gas company Bulgargaz on Tuesday signed a long-term deal with Turkish state gas firm Botas, giving it access to neighbouring Turkey's gas network and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals to help bring in supplies.

Germany Welcomes First LNG Carrier At New Wilhelmshaven Terminal

Germany welcomed on Tuesday the first tanker carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the newly opened LNG import terminal at Wilhelmshaven, with the cargo arriving from the Calcasieu Pass export facility in the United States.
