Gazprom and Centrica strike a 3 year gas supply contract
British utility Centrica has announced on Thursday that it has signed a 3 years gas supply contract with Gazprom Marketing & Trading, a UK registered wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian energy giant Gazprom. Under the deal, Gazprom will supply 2.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas starting from 2014.

Brent crude traded near $116 a barrel on Thursday, after a hike of five consecutive sessions, as traders were looking forward for new stimulus measures provided by U.S. Federal Reserve, aimed to bolster the world’s largest economy.
