Daily: European power prices trade higher on thermal plant outages

Brent crude traded under $109 per barrel on Tuesday following overnight gains which were backed by supply concerns in OPEC nation Libya, while investors were pending for U.S. economic data due later this week. Brent crude was steady at $108.96 a barrel, at 01:29 GMT unchanged from its close in the previous session, while U.S. crude oil dropped 13 cents at $105.98 a barrel.
