Crude oil prices tumbled on both sides of Atlantic, touching the lowest level in more than two years on Tuesday, with WTI crude recording its largest daily drop since 2012, as a decline in gasoline prices and end-of-quarter selling reduced three months of losses. Brent crude for November delivery plummeted $2.53 to settle at $94.67 a barrel, posting a 16 percent loss for the quarter. U.S. crude decreased by $3.41 to close at $91.16 a barrel, its biggest one-day loss since November 2012.

Turkey will raise power and natural gas prices by 9 percent starting from October, as stated by Energy Minister Taner Yildiz on Tuesday, accusing a weaker currency for the price increases in the greatly import-dependent country.

WTI crude oil increased on Monday spurred by U.S. economic figures, while Brent rebounded after getting closer to a two-year low last week. U.S. crude for November delivery boosted $1.03 to close at $94.57, while Brent increased 20 cents to settle at $97.20 a barrel.
