The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is financing the construction and operation of phase 1 of a new wind farm project in Orla, eastern Poland. The EBRD supports the 37.5MW wind farm project with an investment loan of up to 22 million euros.

The EBRD is providing a long-term loan of more than 69 million euros to PEPSA, a group of three special-purpose companies fully owned by Polish Energy Partners S.A, aiming to support the construction and operation of three wind farms in northern and north-eastern Poland. They are Gawłowice with a total capacity of 41.4 MW, Rajgród with 25MW and Skurpie 37 MW.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a 45 million euros loan for the Serbian state-owned company, Elecktroprivreda Srbije (EPS), which will be allotted for building seven new hydropower plants and for modernizing 15 existing small hydropower ones.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development agreed to provide a long-term loan to RusHydro subsidiary in Russia, worth 253 million dollars (RUB8bn). The loan is provided for 10 years and will be allocated for restructuring of a recently acquired subsidiary, OJSC Energy Systems of the Far East (ESV).
