Innogy enters Irish market, buys wind farm
The German company Innogy has purchased a wind farm in County Kerry, Ireland, thus entering the Irish market. The value of the acquisition of the Dromadda Beg wind farm has not been disclosed, but it is known that it will operate three wind turbines with a 10.2 MW capacity, which received planning approval in May 2014.

Transocean to acquire competitor Songa Offshore for $1.1 billion
One of the world’s biggest oil rig operator, Transocean, is about to acquire its Norwegian rival Songa Offshore. The acquisition will be carried out through shares and convertible bonds, all worth 9.1 billion crowns ($1.1 billion).

Statoil purchases 12.5% of Dogger Bank offshore wind project
The Norway based company Statoil, recently announced about the intention to acquire 12.5% in the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm from Statkraft. The acquisition will increase Statoil participation in the 4.8GW offshore wind up to 37.5%.
