LNG deal between Estonia and Finland

A transaction between Estonia and Finland has been signed on Friday aiming the construction of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals on each side of the Gulf of Finland and a pipeline linking the two countries, as stated by Juhan Parts, the Estonian Economy Minister.

Dongfang wins order to supply 30 turbines to Blaiken

China’s Dongfang Electric has inked a €67 million transaction with Skellefteå Kraft to deliver turbines at the third stage of the 250 MW Blaiken wind farm in the north of Sweden. The first two phases comprise 60 Nordex turbines of 2.5 MW each.

Dong Energy sells 50% share in London Array

DONG Energy has today signed an agreement to sell half of its 50% share in the 630 MW offshore wind farm London Array, to the Canadian financial institution, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (La Caisse), for a total sum of 644 million pounds. The transaction is likely to be completed in the first six months of this year, after which DONG Energy will have a total ownership share of 25 per cent, representing 157.5 MW.

Rosneft to pursue expansion in gas market with $1.8 billion acquisition

Enel SpA, the Italian electric utility company, the second-largest in Europe by market capitalization, unveiled that it will sell its 40% stake in Arctic Russia BV, a joint venture with Eni that owns 49% of SeverEnergia. Enel will receive 1.8 billion USD from Rosneft and the completion of transaction is subject to regulatory and other approvals.
