Crude oil prices recovered considerable on Monday, up more than 5 percent as traders reevaluated how fast Iran could ramp up exports after a preliminary nuclear deal and estimated that months-hike in U.S. crude stockpiles may be at a slow path. Oil broadened gains after industry intelligence group Genscape unveiled that inventories at Cushing, Oklahoma posted the lowest increase since November last week.

Crude oil plunged on Tuesday, dragged down sharply by a rallying dollar, with Brent declining more than WTI as traders took profits on recent highs in Brent’s premium. Brent crude closed at $58.39 a barrel, down $2.14, and U.S. crude settled at $48.29, slipping $1.71.

Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom declared on Friday it had obtained further $15 million prepayment from Ukraine for gas supplies, as stated by Gazprom's representative. This shows that Ukraine has prepaid for gas until mid-month.
