World’s first offshore hydrogen production project yields first kilograms of green hydrogen
The offshore hydrogen production platform that Lhyfe is testing in France, named Sealhyfe, began producing its first kilograms of offshore hydrogen on 20 June after it was towed last month to the SEM-REV offshore test site which is connected to BW Ideol’s floating wind turbine Floatgen.

Netherlands increases subsidies for green hydrogen production
The Dutch government on Friday said it will increase subsidies for the production of hydrogen from renewable sources of energy, known as 'green hydrogen', by 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) next year and another 3.9 billion euros in the years after.

EU renewable H2 definition to enter into force in July

Germany, Italy support new hydrogen-ready pipeline project
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Thursday he is pleased that Italy and Germany have agreed to push ahead with work on the construction of a pipeline to transport gas and hydrogen between the two countries.
