Cyprus: New gas discovery offshore considered non-profitable
Eni and Total have found gas while drilling offshore Cyprus near the giant Zohr gas field discovery in Egypt waters, but the anticipated quantity of the recently discovered field is too small to develop on its own, as stated by Cypriot Energy Minister Yiorgos Lakkotrypis on Tuesday.

BP and Kosmos Energy find an important gas reservoir offshore Senegal
BP and its partner Kosmos Energy have recently made an important discovery of a gas reservoir offshore Senegal, during drilling the Yakaar-1 exploration well. Yakaar-1 well is situated in the Cayar Offshore Profond block, approximately 95kms northwest of Dakar.

Statoil receives the green light for Trestakk field exploration in Norwegian Sea
