Oil prices saw an increase on Thursday as market sentiment shifted positively after both the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England chose to halt their interest rate hikes. Consequently, Brent crude climbed by 2.6% to settle at $86.85 a barrel, while WTI crude increased by 2.5% to end at $82.46 a barrel.

UK's National Grid and SSEN in JV for 2 GW electricity transmission project
Scottish and Southern Energy Networks (SSEN) said on Tuesday it had signed a joint venture agreement with Britain's National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) to build a 2 gigawatt (GW) subsea cable linking northern Scotland to England.
