Daily (06.09.2019): NBP spot soared by 7.7% on Thursday, on expectations for higher demand

Crude oil prices remained bullish on Thursday following a larger-than-expected fall in the U.S. crude stockpiles reported for last week. Meanwhile, slowing global economic growth and weaker hopes for an upcoming trade agreement between China and the U.S. tempered the rise. Brent crude advanced by 0.4% to $60.95 a barrel, while WTI futures edged 0.1% higher at $56.30 a barrel.

Romania's Transgaz, BSOG proceed with MGD gas delivery project

Romanian gas transmission company Transgaz and Black Sea Oil & Gas have signed an agreement to build a 24.37 km pipeline that will feed gas from Black Sea wells into the system, the economy ministry said on Friday.

Vestas to sell majority stake in three wind power plants in Romania for 136 mln euro

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas said it has entered into an agreement to sell 80% of its shares in the subsidiaries owning the Romanian wind power plants Pantelimon, Pegasus, and Apollo to a non-disclosed buyer for 136 million euro ($151 million).

Rosneft signs agreements on offshore gas field development with Mozambique

Russian state-run oil company Rosneft signed a memorandum of understanding with Mozambique's National Hydrocarbons Company (Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos E.P., ENH) to develop offshore natural gas fields, a TASS correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.

Belarus and Russia authorize 3.7% increase in oil transportation tariff as from 1 September

Belarus and Russia have come to an agreement on raising the tariff on transporting oil across the Belarusian territory by 3.7% as from 1 September, the press service of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim told BelTa after negotiations on 6 August.
