Portugal set to start up Europe's largest floating solar park
Two tugboats have moved a vast array of 12,000 solar panels, the size of four soccer pitches, to their mooring on Portugal's Alqueva reservoir in preparation to start up Europe's largest floating solar park in July.

Crude oil prices increased slightly on Friday, amid extended risks to crude supply due to escalating geopolitical tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Thus, Brent oil rose by 0.8% to $90.03 a barrel and WTI crude edged 0.2% higher at $86.82 a barrel.

Lithuania eyes 700MW offshore wind zone that could meet 25% of its power needs

EnBW grid connects Germany’s biggest offshore wind farm
German utility EnBW has fully connected the Albatros wind farm in the North See to the grid, which together with the adjacent Hohe See array forms Germany’s largest operating offshore wind complex with a capacity of 609MW.
