More funding to progress UK nuclear-generated hydrogen project
An EDF-led consortium has been awarded UK government funding to further develop plans to use heat and electricity from Heysham 2 to create hydrogen for use in the production of asphalt and cement. Earlier this year, a feasibility study demonstrated the significant benefit the project would bring in proving how nuclear could power hydrogen electrolysis.

Scottish project to use surplus wind for 3GW hydrogen
UK-based energy storage company Statera plans to develop a 3GW grid-connected electrolysis project near Aberdeen to turn surplus offshore wind power in Scotland into hydrogen, the company said today.

Cepsa, EDP combine green H2 plans at Spain's Algeciras

Danish political agreement reached on up to 6 GW electrolysis target
A broad political agreement has been reached in Denmark to spur Power-to-X technologies, including a DKK-1.25-billion (USD 184m/EUR 168m) tender for hydrogen production, the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities said on Tuesday.
