France's Chinon 3 reactor offline for tests after pipe corrosion detected
The 900-megawatt Chinon 3 nuclear reactor in western France has been taken offline for tests after "stress corrosion" was found on a bend in four pipes comprising a backup safety coolant system, power group EDF said.

Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline says has completed section in German waters
The Russia-led Nord Stream 2 consortium said on Monday it has completed laying pipes for the project in German waters, finishing work on a 2.6 kilometre-long portion of the pipeline, which had been stalled by the threat of U.S. sanctions.

Gazprom constructed 95.5% of Power of Siberia pipeline
Gazprom built 95.5% of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, including welding and laying of 2,064 km of pipes from Yakutia to the border with China, the company said in its press release on Friday, according to TASS.

Cold testing completed at Barakah 2nd unit
The second unit at the Barakah nuclear plant has successfully undergone the cold hydrostatic testing. It was performed in order to see if all joints, pipes and components of the reactor coolant system qualify to the standards set by the UAE’s Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).
