Daily (13.03.2019): NBP spot tumbled by 4% on Tuesday, due to strong wind power output and rising temperatures

Oil prices inched up on Tuesday, supported by Saudi Arabia's plan to tighten supply in April. A shortage in Venezuelan oil exports due to a power outage also boosted prices. However, gains were limited by rising U.S. crude production. Both Brent and WTI crude rose by 0.1% to $66.67 a barrel and $56.87 a barrel respectively.

Spain adds new 392 MW of wind power capacity in 2018

Spain increased its wind power capacity by 392 MW, or 1.69% on the year, to a total of 23,484 MW in 2018, according to data provided by the Spanish Wind Energy Association (AEE) on Wednesday.

Daily (20.02.2019): The German spot power price jumped by over 10% influenced by weaker wind power production

After hitting 2019 highs, oil prices calmed on Tuesday, as concerns about global crude oil demand, and uncertainty around U.S.-China trade talks, counterbalanced OPEC’s supply cuts and U.S. sanctions on Venezuela and Iran.  Brent crude settled 0.1% lower at 66.45 USD/bbl, whereas WTI futures inched up by 0.1% to 56.09 USD/bbl.
