Meaning of Terms
  • For Power
  • EMP Fundamental Price spot: Day ahead prices for fuels used are taken into consideration for the calculated price. Fundamental prices for electricity are calculated on the basis of modeled oil, natural gas, uranium, coal, carbon emissions transposed to the national power parks (taking also into account nuclear outages, where relevant)
  • EMP Fundamental Price Cal Year: Calendar Year for fuels used are taken into consideration for the calculated price. Fundamental prices for electricity are calculated on the basis of modeled oil, natural gas, uranium, coal, carbon emissions transposed to the national power parks (taking also into account nuclear outages, where relevant)
  • EMP Fundamental Price Y+1: Calendar Year N+1 (N=current year) for fuels used are taken into consideration for the calculated price. Fundamental prices for electricity are calculated on the basis of modeled oil, natural gas, uranium, coal, carbon emissions transposed to the national power parks (taking also into account nuclear outages, where relevant)

3 benchmarks for Power are used to represent the industrial segmentation:
