Daily: European coal posts a slight recovery along with other markets

Brent crude oil futures increased above $103 a barrel on Friday, registering the first monthly hike in five months, after comments from Federal Reserve governors that the Fed is not hurrying to scale back its massive bond-buying program. Meanwhile, Brent crude oil futures added 18 cents to $103 a barrel by 02:51 GMT, after dropping to a session low of $102.44 earlier as investors sold off gains from the previous session. U.S. crude oil increased 11 cents to $97.16 a barrel.

UK to pay offshore wind developers triple market electricity price

Under a subsidy program to boost renewable energy that by 2020, the UK is engaged to pay offshore wind developers triple the market price for electricity they generate at £155 per megawatt-hour, move that will cost consumers 7 .6 billion pounds ($11.6 billion) a year.

Daily: Crude oil futures end mitigated drawn by views on economy and Fed

Crude oil futures were mixed on Tuesday, with Brent declining on a weak global economic outlook and U.S. crude ended higher, pushed up by the optimism about the Federal Reserve’s stimulus program. Meanwhile, U.S. crude futures settled 48 cents higher at $93.61 per barrel, increasing one-half percent after dropping as low as $91.65. Brent crude oil futures settled 24 cents lower at $102.19 a barrel after trading between $101.08 and $102.85.

Brief history about the Italian V Conto Energia

The first Italian National Energy Program dates 1975 when, immediately after the first oil crisis, the Parliament noticed the problem of the increasing fossil fuels prices. The objective was to design a new national energy system fossil fuel free, the only solution was to build new nuclear power reactors, but a referendum where about 70% of the Italians decided to vote against nuclear, stopped the construction of all the nuclear plants all over Italy.
