Daily (19.12.2019): French spot power plunges 33% on Wednesday on high wind, nuclear generation

Crude oil futures were rather flat on Wednesday after moving upward four trading days in a row. Brent crude edged higher, paring earlier gains following the latest oil inventory figures from the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Brent crude for February delivery added 7 cents, or 0.1%, to end at $66.17 per barrel. WTI for January delivery slipped to $60.93 per barrel.

Russian company to initiate feasibility study of undersea gas pipeline in 2020

Russian company Gazprom is set to initiate the feasibility study in the first quarter of 2020 for laying down undersea pipeline starting from Persian Gulf to Pakistan, India and Bangladesh initially that will ultimately end to China after touching Myanmar and Thailand, a senior official of the Petroleum Division privy to the development told The News.

Gazprom Export supplies 1st LPG from Russia to China by rail

Gazprom Export has for the 1st time supplied liquefied petroleum gas by rail from Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China. This was done as part of the preparations for exports from the Amur gas processing plant, which is under construction at the moment.
