Crude oil prices strengthened slightly on Friday, backed by the momentum from Wall Street’s oil-linked indexes. As a result, Brent crude inched 0.1% up at $84.38 a barrel and WTI oil gained nearly 1% at $83.57 a barrel.

Daily (29.10.2021): Gas markets lost significant ground on Thursday, following President Putin statement on higher flows from Russia in November
Oil prices extended losses on Thursday, on previous news of an increase in US crude reserves. However, the market recovered as OPEC+ announced forecasts of a larger-than-expected drop in global stocks this year. Hence, Brent oil slipped by 0.3% to $84.32 a barrel and WTI crude edged 0.2% higher at $82.81 a barrel.

Daily (28.10.2021): Oil prices lost more than 2% on Wednesday, pressured by a weekly increase in US crude stocks
Crude oil prices were bearish on Wednesday, as crude reserves in the United States rose by twice as much as analysts expected. Moreover, prices fell on signs of a resumption of nuclear negotiations with Iran. Hence, Brent oil lost 2.1% at $84.58 a barrel and WTI crude dropped by 2.4% to $82.66 a barrel.

Daily (27.10.2021): Oil prices hit their highest levels since 2014 amid ongoing concerns about supply
Oil prices continued their steady uptrend on Tuesday, with the benchmarks hitting their highest levels in almost seven years amid limited supply from particularly OPEC and on growing global demand. Hence, Brent crude rose slightly by 0.5% to settle at $86.40 a barrel. U.S WTI crude increased by 1% to close at $84.65 a barrel.

Oil prices steadied on Monday in absence of any significant event on the market, with the market remaining focused on the tight global supply. Hence, Brent crude rose by 0.5% to settle at $85.99 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude remained unchanged at $83.76 a barrel.
