Lukoil eyes the acquisition of new assets in the Middle East
The Lukoil president, Vagit Alekperov declared to reporters on Friday that the giant is looking to fully change its reserves in Russia and enter other markets in the years to come, thus the company is interested in acquiring Middle East assets, even if Russia is full of assets.

Hyundai Heavy wins a major-FPSO deal from BP
Hyundai Heavy Industries, the world’s largest shipbuilding company has landed a huge FPSO (floating production storage and offloading) new building order from European oil major, BP. It is the first FPSO order in the world market which is worth around $1.2 billion.

Lukoil Overseas and Vanco International to explore two offshore blocks in Romania
A consortium, formed by Lukoil Overseas and U.S. Vanco International signed concession agreements with the National Agency for Mineral Resources of Romania. The agreements provide the joint exploration and development of two blocks, Est Rapsodia and Trident, in the Romanian sector of the Black Sea.
