Crude oil prices extended seven-year highs on Tuesday amid concerns about tightening supply and exacerbating geopolitical tensions. Supply worries mounted this week after Yemen’s Houthi group attacked the United Arab Emirates, escalating hostilities. As a result, Brent crude rose by 4.5% to settle at $87.51 a barrel.
