Japan’s Hitachi to build nuclear power plants in the UK

Ireland will miss to meet the 2020 EU targets

According to the EU- funded “Sustainable Energy for the Rural Village Environment” (SERVE) project, Ireland is to miss its EU energy efficiency target by 2020. The project stated that about 90,000 buildings will need important improvements every year by 2020, even if this year less than 50,000 buildings undergo energy upgrades.If Ireland doesn’t reach its objective by 2020, it will have to pay severe penalties.
