On Friday, Bulgaria and Romania have opened a new natural gas pipeline as part of Sofia’s objective to reduce its reliance on Russian gas. Bulgaria currently imports more than 90 percent of its gas from Russia’s Gazprom.

Bulgarian and Slovak gas operators will collaborate on projects
The gas pipeline operators of Bulgaria and Slovakia have inked a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in connecting the proposed Eastring pipeline and Balkan gas hub project, as stated by Bulgaria's energy ministry on Friday.

E.ON splits renewables pipeline since regulation modifies

Poland hurries Norway gas connection plans after EU
Poland will quicken plans to construct a gas link to Norway in reply to the EU decision last week to lift a cap on Gazprom's consumption of the Opal pipeline in Germany, a Polish government representative declared, calling the move a political one.
