Croatian state-run power utility HEP declared on Thursday it had inked a 12 million euro ($13.4 million) agreement to supply power to the capital of bordering Slovenia over the next three years, since it aims to expand in the region.

Daily: European power prices mixed, with German up on weak wind, French down on holiday

Crude oil receded 3 percent on Thursday as strengthening dollar slashed gains from the past two sessions. North Sea Brent crude declined $2.23, or 3.3 percent, to settle at $65.54 a barrel. Brent posted a 1.6% weekly loss. U.S. crude fell $1.99, or 3.3 percent, to close at $58.94 a barrel.

Daily: Crude oil prices settle down as military campaign in Yemen ends

Crude oil prices declined on Tuesday after Saudi Arabia unveiled the end of its military campaign in Yemen, lessening turmoil in the Middle East and traders predicted another build in U.S. crude inventories. UK North Sea Brent crude slipped $1.37, or 2.1 percent, to settle at $62.08. U.S. crude front-month May contract which expired at the close of Tuesday's session, dropped $1.12, or 2 percent, to close at $55.26 a barrel. WTI crude for June delivery eased $1.27 at $56.61.
