Gas imports bill in Germany for the first semester of 2010 reduced by 3.2%, arriving at 12.2 billion euros, comparing to 12.6 billion for the same period in 2009, according to BAFA data on Thursday.

Gamesa will triple investment in China by 2012
The Spain-based company Gamesa, will triple its investment in China in the next 2-3 years, to expand its facilities in the country. The Spanish company already invested around 42 million Euro in 2009 and plans to invest a further 90 million by 2012, to meet the rising demand of China’s growing wind energy industry.

Russian crude export duty might decline 3 percent in October
According to the Finance Ministry data and Reuters calculations, oil export duty for October in Russia may drop about 3 percent to between $265 and $267 per tonne following the decline in crude prices during the second half of August.

Electricity tariffs in Spain
During the first semester of 2010, Spain's deficit between regulated power tariffs and generation costs widened by 2.59 billion Euros, or 20 percent more than anticipated by the regulator CNE, mainly due to the payment of subsidies for renewable energy generation.
