Dong Energy to divest 50% of its German offshore wind farm project

Denmark’s Dong Energy, the biggest developer of offshore wind farms, has agreed to sell 50% of the 252MW Gode Wind 2 offshore wind farm project in Germany to a consortium of Danish pension funds (PKA).

Dong Energy: wind capacity to be increased to 312MW at Riffgrund

Dong Energy decided to increase the total capacity of its turbines from 277 MW to 312 MW at the Borkum Riffgrund 1 offshore wind farm. The turbines are likely to be upgraded from 3.6 MW to 4 MW.

Dongfang wins order to supply 30 turbines to Blaiken

China’s Dongfang Electric has inked a €67 million transaction with Skellefteå Kraft to deliver turbines at the third stage of the 250 MW Blaiken wind farm in the north of Sweden. The first two phases comprise 60 Nordex turbines of 2.5 MW each.
