Egypt: Zohr gas field will produce 1 billion cubic feet per day by end-2017

Egypt has settled with Italy's Eni to start production of 1 billion cubic feet per day of gas at the Zohr gas field, the largest in the Mediterranean, by the end of 2017, according to the oil minister Tarek El Molla on Tuesday.

Egypt receives $4bn financing from international banks to develop 14 GW of CHP plants

Egypt: EGAS finalizes tender for two LNG cargoes for April delivery

Egypt has acquired two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for April delivery from two international firms, EGAS Chairman Khaled Abdel Badie told Reuters on Sunday, without mentioning which two companies won the tender.
