Algeria is likely to increase oil and gas production

Algeria is aiming to increase its oil and natural gas production by 50% and 100 percent respectively within 10 years helped by major exploration success last year and by shale gas which would have an important role to achieve the ambitious plan. The minister projected Algeria's recoverable reserves at between 25 and 30 trillion cubic feet.

UK is going ahead with shale gas exploration

Britain is moving ahead with plans to accelerate the search for shale oil and gas, as a British government report has found that more than half of the country could be suitable for shale gas fracking. PGNiG and Chevron to explore for shale gas reserves in the southeast of Poland

Poland’s oil and gas company PGNiG, signed a letter of intent with American fuel giant Chevron, on the terms of a possible cooperation on shale gas exploration projects, which would bring together four licences in southeastern Poland.
